Ewelands House is in Sleights, one of the North Yorkshire Moors villages and is surrounded by sheep-filled pastures, ancient woodlands and tinkling streams.
Wellies, brollies, binoculars, torches, iron/ironing board, washing up liquid, cloths and scourer, kitchen cleaner, dishwasher and laundry tablets, kitchen towel and tea towels, toilet rolls, kitchen roll, liquid hand wash, cling film, foil, condiments, are all provided for your use.

French doors open onto a large glazed balcony overlooking the amazing view of the North Yorkshire Moors and a cushioned window seat, Ralph Lauren lighting and fabulous silk padded curtains fall to the floor, makes this a wonderfully warm and inviting place to while away the hours.

Eating
The kitchen has windows that frame the North Yorkshire Moors and is perfectly equipped for the aspiring chef. Mellow cream cabinets house everything you need to conjure up a feast and the granite work surfaces provide plenty of space to prepare your goodies. Equipped with all the mod cons to boot this is a culinary delight.
During less clement weather you can dine at the solid oak dining table which seats 6 comfortably with its industrial lights hanging above, but when the weather is sunny and warm you’ll not want to step off the amazing balcony – perfect for al-fresco meals with outstanding views – a glass of something special in hand is a must.
Bedrooms
The Master Bedroom occupies the whole of the top floor of the cottage and has a King size bed, piled high with luxurious 600 thread count linens, throws and cushions.
Two further bedrooms are on the first floor and are just as gorgeous, one has a King size bed and the other zip and link beds that can be made up as twins or a super-king size bed, so ideal for couples or two sleeping separately. All have deep mattresses, 600 thread count linens, wall mounted flat screen TV’s and some rather lovely blinds and curtains in each room – pure bliss.

Bathing
The master suite has a freestanding bath in the bedroom. An en-suite shower room with heated towel rail and great lighting make up the master room.
On the first floor there is a walk in shower room again with heated towel rail. Fluffy towels and Elemis toiletries are waiting for you. There is a cloakroom on the ground floor too with toilet and basin.
There is a fabulous large glazed balcony, with luxury furniture where you can enjoy a glass or two while soaking up the sun and gazing over the valley and towards Whitby
Relax and unwind
You can snuggle up with the throws provided and watch for shooting stars on the patio furniture or have a BBQ with the charcoal Weber BBQ.
Watch the deer in the field and look out for the barn owl flying by on an eveving. There is an abundance of wildlife.
Enjoy al-fresco meals
Plan your day with coffee, or enjoy a glass of fizz while watching the North Yorkshire Moors Steam train puff along in the valley below on its way into Whitby.
Please note Ewelands House doesn’t have a garden.
3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. The master occupies the whole of the top floor and has a King size bed, piled high with luxurious linens, covers and cushions.
Can sleep 8 if interlinked with Ewelands Retreat
Two dogs are very welcome. We charge £50 per week or short break, per dog.
Doggy Day Care or Boarding
Just a short distance from the cottages is a local doggy day care and boarder the Happy Hounds Pet Service, should you require to book prior to your arrival. You can contact them on 07835 889731
Travel Cot and high chair available upon request (bring your own bedding).

The house is fully WiFi connected so you can keep in touch with the outside world if you need to and make full use of the SMART TVs and iPad.
