Spring in your Step – The Daffodils are out
Spring in your Step – The daffodils are out, birds are busy nesting and some of us have even dipped our toes into the sea, so spring is definitely on its way. North Yorkshire is just gorgeous at this time of year – think bright yellow gorse, pale blue skies tinted with golden sunshine, and fresh sea air revitalising cooped-up lungs – just perfect to put that spring in your step.
For the ultimate inner spring-clean, pack your bags and head off for a refreshing spring break in one of our idyllic cottages.
There are so many things you can do in Whitby and the surrounding areas, if you get stuck for ideas take a look at our Attractions page for some suggestions.
The historic seaside town of Whitby has recently been voted “Best Day Out” in the Tourism Awards. The beautiful coastline, only a few minutes drive away provides stunning views, clean beaches and cliff top walks, with unspoilt fishing villages such as Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Staithes. There is a great mix of galleries, antiques centres and quaint boutiques, not to mention the inviting teashops to enjoy. Just next door is the village of Ruswarp with rowing boats on the River Esk.
